Aleluya Slumber Party

A few weekends ago Mari, the care taker of Aleluya church hosted an all girls slumber party for niñas of the church. There were about 20 girls from ages 2 to 13. It was so much fun! I went over around 6PM and they were all in a little swimming pool having the best time. You would think that this little inflatable pool was something at a water park! They were literally having swimming races in this little one foot deep pool. They were having a blast. Then it was time for dinner. Mari made them hamburgers (with a slice of ham, naturally, on the burger). After dinner and the food barely digested there was an intense pillow fight. Literally this pillow fight lasted about one hour! There were at least four girls who shed some tears but overall they had so much fun. It was also really funny watching Mari get in the fight. I'm still not sure who won or really how you win in a pillow fight. Next the girls decided that they weren't tired enough so they had races around the Aleluya property. I don't know the exact measurement but it's much larger that a football field. The evening followed with wheelbarrow races and human pyramids. The girls are so precious (and wild). Mari let these little girls have such a wonderful carefree evening of fun!

In the "pool". They must have been in there for hours.

Nayeli enjoying the pillow fight.

Mari about to get it from the girls!

Little Gaby won one of the races around the church...barefoot.

I'm actually pretty impressed by this four-level pyramid.
Little Helen was so sticky after her ice cream she needed a bath and a change of clothes.
